Apple never ceases to wow.
It reminded us simple folk of that fact Monday, when following its October event, the company unveiled its latest creation: a $19 Apple-branded "polishing cloth."
I mean, just look at the thing. Incredible.
And don't worry, according to Apple the polishing cloth has the specs to match its awe-inspiring look.
"Made with soft, nonabrasive material, the Polishing Cloth cleans any Apple display, including nano-texture glass, safely and effectively," reads the accompanying marketing copy.
And lest you fear that the cloth isn't suitable for your fancy new iPhone 13, Apple is here to dissuade you of that terrifying notion. According to a compatibility list, the brand-new polishing cloth works on all sorts of Apple products. Phew.
The polishing cloth makes clear that when it comes to innovating new ways to get people to overpay for something, Apple is still leading the pack.

Unfortunately, you'll need more than a $19 towelette to wipe away the shame of actually buying one.
